Who is God – God’s Image

When the Bible states that Mankind was made in the image of God what do you think it means? Could it mean that God has two ears, two eyes, two arms, and two legs? Does God have skin? If so which nationality comes the closest to resembling the image of God?
Many theologians discuss this topic and have their own theory about what defies the image of God. God’s Image is actually a very sensitive subject. According to the Bible, God did not like people drawing pictures of what they thought God might look like. The Bible says that God gave this commandment to the Jews once they had left Egypt. So when God says, “we are made in His image” it may mean we can do things or imitate God. Like for instance: God loves to create/Man loves to create, God uses spoken language/Man uses spoken language, God invented humility/Mankind can feel humility, God has the most superior thought process in the universe/Mankind has the highest intelligence on the planet. One thing is clear, God does not want us to confuse his image or come to worship just his image. Clearly misunderstandings will lead to idol worship, racism, etc.
Mankind is evidence that God is real and thanks to the original gospel, we no longer have to ask, “is there a God?” “who is God?” Your compassion, empathy, humility, creativity, and intellectual superiority to all the other creatures on the planet are proof of God and what makes up the image of God.
